Volunteers needed: Fall Celebration and Alumni Awards Reception on Thursday, November 4th

We will be hosting our Fall Celebration and Alumni Awards Reception on Thursday, November 4^th from 5:30pm – 8pm here in the School of Nursing. We are in need of several student volunteers throughout the day and evening to help us with this event. Masks will be strongly encouraged.

Please review the following volunteer tasks and timeframes. If you are free and would like to volunteer for this event, please respond to Amber at ashah@nursing.utexas.edu as soon as possible:

Set up assistance needed anytime between 12pm – 4pm on Thursday, November 4^th
- Tasks include:
  - Setting up check in table in lobby, wiping down tables and chairs in courtyard and terrace, rearranging terrace furniture, decorating tables with table cloths, creating and setting out cocktail table centerpieces, setting LED votives in holders and placing on all tables in the courtyard and terrace.
Event Management assistance needed between 5pm – 8pm on Thursday, November 4^th
- Tasks include:
  - Managing the guest check in table, door attendants in main lobby and student services lobby, and general event floaters
Breakdown Assistance needed anytime between 8pm – ~8:30pm on Thursday, November 4^th
- Tasks include:
  - Tossing trash, breaking down centerpieces, gathering votives and holders to place back in boxes, removing tablecloths, and would be welcome to take left over food if any to prevent food waste.
