Columbia University Summer Public Health Scholars Program offers hands-on field experience and immersion in a diverse, economically disadvantaged urban environment, as well as seminars and mentoring by faculty members.
Diversity Summer Internship Program for Undergraduates with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is a 10-week summer program that provides undergraduates with a graduate-level, independent research project in the biomedical or public health field.
Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Maternal Child Health Careers/Research Initiatives for Student Enhancement (MCHC/RISE-UP) program provides opportunities for enhanced public health leadership training in the area of maternal and child health – specifically, clinical/community, community engagement and advocacy, and research.
Morehouse College Public Health Leader Fellowship Program (MC-PHLFP) is a 10-week summer program with a principal aim of reducing health disparities. Students are paired with a mentor to conduct a hands-on research project within CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention.
Project Imhotep is an 11-week summer internship program designed to increase the knowledge and skills of underrepresented minority students in biostatistics, epidemiology, and occupational safety and health.
UCLA Public Health Scholars Training Program works with community-based organizations, health systems, and government agencies to offer field placements in Los Angeles for undergraduate students.
University of Michigan Future Public Health Leaders Program is a 10-week residential summer program that provides students with opportunities for growth, learning, and awareness in the field of public health.
