We invite you to our monthly seminar, now focused on cardiology, presented by Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Puebla, Mexico and Dell Med at UT Austin to improve the health of vulnerable populations in our two countries. In addition to diabetes, cardiovascular disease is another leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Texas and Mexico and, after diabetes, was identified as the second top health priority by rural communities surrounding Puebla, Mexico.
Dr. Erick Alberto Canché Bacab at BUAP and Dr. Peter Monteleone at UT Austin will review the diagnosis and highlight evidence-based management of acute coronary syndromes including disparities by gender and ethnicity in presentation and treatment outcomes.
