Volunteer Opportunities

  1. Volunteer at T. A. Brown Elementary’s Trunk or Treat
    • Date & Time: Friday, Oct. 21st, 2022 at 4pm-7:30pm
    • T. A. Brown Elementary School is looking for UT students to volunteer for their annual Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 21. Volunteers are needed for event set up from 4-5 pm. The event itself takes place from 5-7:30 pm. You may decorate your car trunk to participate in trick-or-treating during the event. If you don’t want to decorate, the school will have you assist in other ways.

  2. Volunteer at Maplewood Elementary 
    • Date & Time: Saturday, Oct. 22nd, 2022 at 1pm-4:00pm
    • Maplewood is celebrating its 70th birthday this year and has been having Fall Fest since the very beginning! Come support Maplewood Elementary by volunteering. Volunteer spots are available from 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM — 1.5 hours minimum, but you could sign up for multiple shifts.

  3. Volunteer at Hope Fest
    • Date & Time:  Saturday, Oct. 22nd, 2022 at 9:30am-2:00pm
    • In its 17th year, HopeFest ’22 will continue to bring a day of celebration and service to the St. John and surrounding communities! We are excited to be back IN-PERSON at Northeast Early College High School (not drive through at Nelson Field). We’ll have the full range of services, including health, vision, dental, housing, employment, health insurance, family programs, youth programs and much more, along with children’s activities (crafts, climbing wall, moonwalks, ponies, kiddie train and more), lunch (catered by Amaya’s Taco village), a live music stage, free trees from Treefolks, 100 free bikes to be raffled off from 100BikesForKids, food from the Central Texas Food Bank and lots of performances and displays from our Northeast area schools.
