Exercise & Nutrition Adaptations for Patients with Heart Disease
We invite you to our monthly seminar, now focused on cardiology, presented by Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Peubla, Mexico and Dell Med at UT Austin to improve the health of vulnerable populations in our two countries. In addition to diabetes, cardiovascular disease is another leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Texas and Mexico and, after diabetes, was identified as the second top health priority by rural communities surrounding Puebla, Mexico.
Dr. Rosa Maria Galicia Aguilar of BUAP and Dr. Columbus Batiste of Kaiser Permenente will discuss the exercise and nutrition adaptation for patients with heart disease.
