The use of computers, the internet, and smartphones has grown rapidly in the past few decades. How has the use of these devices impacted how our minds work, especially as we age? These projects focus on understanding these questions through the lens of “technological reserve” or the way technology use builds both cognitive skills and habit that may moderate the impact of aging on technology. Studies here focus on both archival and clinical studies to understand how the digital tools we have shaped are now shaping our minds and skills.
