Texas Theatre and Dance is pleased to present the 2017/2018 Season including our Subscription Series. This powerful line up of works includes the story of an immigrant’s journey to find “home,” a playful musical that examines the true nature of theatre, a story of scandal and corruption that defined a generation, striking new choreography and the gripping story of a town overcome with fear.

Under the direction of Charles O. Anderson, Andrea Beckham and Yacov Sharir, Transcendence is a celebration of the illustrious career of Dr. Yacov Sharir. The founder of the American Deaf Dance Company and Sharir Dance Company, Dr. Sharir’s research and choreography features virtual environments and computerized movement. Transcendence is also the inaugural year of the Haruka Weiser Memorial Choreographic Fellowship.
