The expansive world of Caryl Churchill’s Love and Information provides brief windows into ordinary and extraordinary moments in the lives of over 100 characters. Closing out the Texas Theatre and Dance 2021/2022 mainstage season, this fast-moving kaleidoscope of vignettes features a versatile ensemble of 16 actors along with innovative design and theatrical elements. Meet the cast and creative team who are transforming the Oscar G. Brockett Theatre this spring.
Portraying the many personalities within Love and Information are undergraduate actors from The University of Texas at Austin alongside local guest artists. The ensemble includes Pete Guadalupe Almaraz IV, Macy Butler, Mary Alice Carnes, Megan Davidson, Nicole Delarosa, Grace Featherston, Dominic Gross, Alyssa Hernandez, Andrea Nuñez, Mika O’Dwyer, Esther Park, Robert Pierson, Jay Smith, Juliana Smith-Etienne, Madeline Rose Thompson and Michael Williams Martinez.
Helping weave together Churchill’s collection of vignettes is an outstanding creative team, featuring Hsiao-Wei Chen (Costume Designer), Ron Collins (Lighting Designer), John Erickson (Projection Designer) Daniel Geld (Technical Director), Inji Ha (Scenic Designer), Dillon James (Composer), Lauren Mural (Stage Manager), Molly Roy (Dramaturg/Movement Director), Mike Steele (Director) and Alex Titsworth (Sound Designer).
