Event Highlight-UTeach Fine Arts Spring Celebration 2024

We are thrilled that our annual UTFA Spring Celebration event was a success! On May 1st, 2024, students, staff, faculty, program partners, and performers gathered to acknowledge the tremendous work of all those involved in UTeach Fine Arts, especially our graduating students, now ready to enter their own classrooms as fine arts teachers.

At the event, we honored Ana Maria Solis, our 2024 UTFA Outstanding Educator Award honoree. Ana Maria offered a heartfelt speech to our students with images of her own orchestra students at Austin High School. We offer a warm thank you to Music teacher and alumnus AJ Marks and his 5th-grade students from UT Elementary School, who wowed our guests with their talented musical performances.

We wish all our graduates the very best and know you’ll all go on to make a difference as arts educators! Hook ’em!
