Art Education students in Dr. Christina Bain’s AED 351: Materials and Processes course (Nyta Prom, Destini Carter, Ana De La Garza, Adelina Hernandez, Erin Jackson, Alex Lankford, Samantha Seat, Beau Seibel, and Molly Thomason) led a pop-up art advocacy event on campus Wednesday, March 12th. “Big Art Day” is a statewide art advocacy initiative that helps raise awareness of art education and art as a creative force in our communities. Students designed and led three free art-making activities: Expressive printing, creative bookmarks, and charming charms. Students on campus were encouraged to join in the art-making.
