UTeach Fine Arts Alumni Spotlight-Lisa Holt

A huge congratulations to UTeach Music Education & Butler School of Music alumna Lisa Holt, head choir director at Cedar Park High School, for being named one of the 10 finalists for the 2026 Grammy Music Educator Award! With over 20 years of experience, Lisa’s impact on music education is truly inspiring. From starting her teaching journey as a student teacher at UT to now leading a thriving choir program and guiding her students to opportunities like performing with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Lisa exemplifies dedication and passion.
