We are an academic research lab at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas. Our research uses medical imaging to improve our understanding of health and disease. We develop new MRI acquisition and imaging processing tools to better understand pathophysiology. We have a long-standing interest in imaging the pancreas to better understand and predict diabetes. We also perform cancer imaging projects and are interested in the nexus between diabetes and cancer.
