K12 Social Studies Editorial

Responsibilities:

  • Support editorial teams with photo and art research, proofing pages against foul, previewing video segments from HISTORY (formerly the History Channel), etc. for the development of 2012 copyright update programs—three (3) middle school and (4) high school programs
  • Focus on replacing photos and art, ensuring that appropriate captions are in place for new photos/art, and matching the HISTORY assets in appropriate sections of our components
  • Attend photo research meetings, status meetings, etc., to develop an understanding of the various processes of editorial work

Requirements:

  • Current college sophomore or junior status required
  • Interest in Social Studies preferred
  • Must be able to work June through Mid-August; max of 200 hours

Compensation:

$12-15/hr
