“The Fate of the Book” Series

The next TILTS event in “The Fate of the Book” series, namely thePRESERVERS panel, is next week — on Thurs. Oct 25, at 7 pm in the HRC’s Prothro Theater.  There will be a reception to follow.

The lecture by Nicholson Baker drew a crowd of just under 300, filling the Blanton Auditorium to capacity, so we hope to continue the interest and energy in this slightly more intimate setting next Th.  There are also smaller breakout sessions with each panelist on Friday the 26th (all free and open to faculty and students).  The breakouts also include a digitization session for all in the VisLab — something everyone should read more about on the UT Home Page next week when it appears as a carousel story!

For details about the breakouts,  see our website: http://www.utexas.edu/cola/insts/tilts-2013/
