St. David’s CHPR Colloquia: The Experiences of Latina Mothers Impacted by Incarceration – October 29, 2021

Dr. Allison Crawford, PhD, RN is a newly appointed T32 Provost Early Career Postdoctoral Fellow with the School of Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin under the direction of Dr. Miyong Kim, PhD, RN, FAAN. Her research is focused on addressing the systemic inequities in childbearing populations influenced by arrest and incarceration. Allison has a BSN in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word and PhD from the University of Texas Health at San Antonio (UTHSA). Dr. Crawford has been awarded the Graduate Nursing Student Social Justice Scholar Award and Sigma Theta Tau Nurse Leader Alpha Delta at Large Award for her nursing leadership and advocacy.
