New York-based artist Alejandro Diaz will discuss his early work in San Antonio’s emergent contemporary Latino/a art scene in the 1990s, performance pieces from when he moved to New York in 2003, and more recent sculptures, which are featured in the Blanton’s current exhibition Words/Matter: Latin American Art and Language at the Blanton.
