On April 24, 2019, CLAVIS director George Flaherty participated in the launch of the Glosario de Arte Contemporáneo Chileno, at the Centro Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo, Cerrillos, in Santiago.
Edited by art critic Nelly Richard and art historian (and CLAVIS alumni) Sebastian Vidal Valenzuela, the Glosario is a digital publication project seeking to develop a constellation of keywords for contemporary Chilean and Latin American art. Flaherty, along with Agustín Diez Fischer, director of the Centro de Estudios Espigas, in Buenos Aires; and Alejandra Araya, director of the Archivo Bello of the Universidad de Chile, Santiago, offered their commentary on the project, which included contributions from scholars and artists internationally.
