Jennifer Sales, CLAVIS PhD student, was named the Mellon Curatorial Fellow in Latin American Art at the Blanton for 2020-21. Jennifer will be working with our colleagues at the museum, curators Vanessa Davidson and Flor Bazzano, including developing her own exhibition there.
Lucy Quezada, CLAVIS PhD student, won an Initiation Scholarship from the Brazilian Studies Association for 2020, which funds exploratory research travel and language study in Brazil. She was one of only four emerging scholars selected from a national pool.
