Madilyn Bradley, MS
Graduate Research Assistant

Madilyn is a graduate student in the Department of Nutritional Sciences, dedicated to understanding the complex relationship between our environment and our health. Her previous work investigated the intersections of built environments and maternal health, specifically examining how neighborhood walkability is associated with preconception and pregnancy weight gain. Her current research integrates Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping with the study of local food systems to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement. Madilyn seeks to bridge the gap between environmental research and health policy, advocating for resilient food systems that can withstand a changing climate.
