If your abstract is selected, you will be able to present your poster during the poster session. On the event day, a Q&A session will be mainly run by faculty judges or employers visiting your poster. The latter will be used to determine the poster award winners!
This year, we are including the UT Gain 3-minute thesis competition. Select few will get the chance to present their research topics to industry & faculty members. The winner will get an award/cash prize! After abstract, please indicate if you interested in poster competition, 3-minute thesis competition or both! The GAIN committee will notify you if you have been selected.
Abstract Call Guidelines:
Deadline: January 12th, 2025

- 250 words with no figures
- 60 poster abstracts will be selected
- 10 3-minute thesis abstracts will be selected
- Poster Dimensions: 32″ x 42″ or 36″ x 48″
- If you participated in previous GAIN events, you are allowed to submit an abstract only if you have completed significant advancements since then

Students who are submitting abstracts will be invited to the mixer event and the awards ceremony!
Students who plan to attend GAIN but are not presenting a poster are encouraged to register ahead of time using the above link to ensure a smooth check-in at the event.
