Multidisciplinary Expertise The Institute on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault is the only research institute in the nation that approaches research about interpersonal violence from a multi-disciplinary focus. We are a collaboration between the Steve Hicks School of Social Work, School of Law, and School of Nursing, and the Bureau of Business Research at the University of Texas at Austin, as well as 150 community affiliates.
