MSL joins the Department of Energy SMART consortium on second-life battery applications led by Tennessee Tech. in partnership with University of Kansas and many other industry partners. With over $9M funding, the project team aims to study battery second-life usages in mobility systems.
MSL joins the US Department of Transportation University Transportation Center (UTC) Center for Climate-Smart Transportation (CCST) led by Johns Hopkins University in partnership with MIT, UT Austin, U. of Utah, Morgan State, and Dine College. With $10M funding from U.S. Department of Transportation, CCST focuses on transportation solutions for preserving the environment.
Prof. Wang served as the General Chair of the 2023 (inaugural) IEEE International Automated Vehicle Validation Conference (IEEE-IACCV 2023) that was held on UT Austin Pickle Research Campus, Oct. 16-18. The conference brought experts, innovators, and enthusiasts in the field of automated vehicles from academia, industry, and government in 14 countries around the world to exchange ideas and facilitate collaborations.
