Tournées Film Festival

The French and Italian Graduate Student Organization (FIGSO) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Tournées Film Festival this month as part of a grant awarded from the French American Cultural Exchange and the French Embassy.

The selection of films showcases the diversity of contemporary French cinema and it is our sincere hope that faculty and students from across campus will take advantage of the Tournées Festival for their classes and will publicize the selection of films and their topics widely. We will be screening eight films at the Union Theater over the course of two weekends, beginning on Friday, February 15 at 6:45pm.

The event is free and open to the public and all films will be presented with English subtitles. The festival will also include an opening reception with refreshments and a talk given by Dr. Herve Picherit.

For more information about the event, screening dates, and synopses of the films, please see the attached flyer or visit our facebook page at:https://www.facebook.com/events/429457447122657/
