I was discharged with my home treatment equipment and a regimen to follow. It was overwhelming at first, but I have adapted quite well. A few weeks after that, I will have built up a high enough number of neutralizing antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus to be protected. I will still have to wear a mask and keep my distance from others, but for me and probably many others who have been vaccinated, it is a step towards everything I miss about life before pandemic, no matter how far away that reality may actually be.
