He has visited the Ransom Center on multiple occasions, including time spent researching Roald Dahl. Treglown is researching a book about the career of John Hersey (1914-93), author of Hiroshima and The Wall, among many other works. The Wall (1950) is the first US novel about the Shoah and was to have been made into a film by David O. Selznick. The Hersey-related archives which Treglown worked on at the Ransom Center included the Selznick records of this never-completed project.
