Corporate Luncheon is an opportunity for first-years to learn about opportunities from corporate sponsors. These speakers are meant to provide insight into what it is like to be an engineer and provide an introduction to recruiting. Students were able to network with recruiters and understand their organizations’ culture, without the immediate pressure that comes with formal recruiting events. Similarly, recruiters were able to meet and learn about students beyond what their resumes may contain.
