Overview: Cockrell School Cares is an external-facing committee of the Student Engineering Council that promotes self-care, mental health, diversity, and inclusion within the Cockrell School of Engineering and on campus as a whole. With roots in the campaigns that took place in April over the course of 2018 and 2019, Cockrell School Cares is now a stand-alone committee that runs events, workshops, and discussions throughout the entire year. Through our programming, we hope to both offer engineers an avenue to relax and an opportunity to engage in productive conversations to improve the atmosphere and culture of our school of engineering.
