We are SEC’s committee for anything analytics-related! We are SEC’s newest committee, turning 5 this year. Previously, we’ve worked in the sphere of consulting on the event planning realm and data collection on the attendees of SEC events, in addition to creating briefs for the event to adjust planning strategies for future years. This year, we’re expanding our realm to focus more on analyzing DEI initiatives to better approach them in the future, using Airtable (our data collection software of choice) to make our officers and committees’ lives easier, and tailoring project management tools for our committees. These goals will be tackled by our new subcommittee system.
Our 2022-2023 Committee:
Directors
The Marketing & Analytics committee is led by Andrew Eaton (he/him) and Trevor Tran (he/him). Andrew is a 3rd-year Mechanical Engineer. Trevor is a 3rd-year Biomedical Engineer.
Reports
Unlike the other event planning committees, the Marketing & Analytics Committee focuses on auditing events and measuring our impact. Event Reports perform a detailed analysis of an event’s planning, operation, finances, marketing, impact, and more. Event Briefs analyze an event’s planning, finances, marketing, and impact in a more summarized format. Event Summaries highlight key metrics in demographics, finances, and marketing.
