Health Leadership Apprentice Program at Dell Medical School
This program is a 15-week internship for both undergrad and graduate students that connects them with Dell Med faculty to work on initiatives and research, and learn more about Dell Med’s values, mission, and work with Austin and Travis County. Apprentices are also challenged to create their own self-initiated project which they present at a poster session to Dell Med faculty, and they attend leadership and professionalism workshops as well as Dell Med lectures and events.
The application for the spring semester opened this week, and closes on December 22nd. You do not need to be pre-med to apply! We also seek students interested in other disciplines and their connection to healthcare, such as design, engineering, economics, communications, business, law, humanities, social work, computer sciences, pharmacy, nursing, marketing, and more. All students interested in learning more about Dell Med’s commitment to progressive, inclusive, community-focused healthcare are encouraged to apply.
