Immunization Coordinator – Public Health

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Markets the state registry to healthcare providers.
2. Coordinates transfer of data between electronic systems as needed.
3. Oversees vaccine inventory for electronic health record.
4. Oversees vaccine audit schedules per Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
5. Supervises staff.
6. Works with Medical Director’s office to update and maintain Vaccine Administration Guidelines.
7. Coordinates state and local immunization reporting.
8. Provides nursing assistance with immunization events as needed.
9. Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the Public Health Department as assigned or required.

Minimum Requirements:

TO APPLY, must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
TO APPLY, must have Two (2) full-time years of work experience as a registered nurse.
TO APPLY, must have current and valid RN licensure.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Knowledge of immunization practices and public speaking skills preferred.
