Our colleague Laura Batz Townsend, co-founder and president of the Louise H. Batz Patient Safety Foundation, asked us to disseminate information about a great volunteer opportunity for students. More information is below. If appropriate, please share this opportunity with nursing students or send to the appropriate person who can distribute this information.
The Batz Foundation is hosting a Game Night fundraiser on September 14th from 4pm – 10pm. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about and help an organization that is focused on preventing medical errors by ensuring that patients and families have the knowledge they need to promote a safe hospital experience for their loved ones, and to support innovative advancements in patient safety. You can read more about this organization and their mission here: (https://www.louisebatz.org/).
