Job opportunity: COVID-19 case investigator

The below job opportunity is from Jeff Taylor, a manager with Austin Public Health’s Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit.

• Austin Public Health is in need of 8-10 additional COVID-19 case investigators.
• Investigators call COVID-19 cases and collect clinical, demographic, and exposure information.  Investigator also provides education related to COVID-19.  A COVID-19 case investigator is provided a laptop, cell phone, and works 100% from home.
• We asked that the investigator work about 24-40 hours per week.
• Investigator are paid for hours worked.  The hourly rate rates depending on the person’s years of experience.
