AMPATH/MAPAS Mexico Monthly Seminar: Exercise & Nutrition Adaptations for Patients with Heart Disease

We invite you to your monthly seminar, now focused on cardiology, presented by Benemertia Universidad Autonoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Puebla, Mexico at Dell Med at UT Austin to improve the health of vulnerable populations in our two countries. In addition to diabetes, cardiovascular disease is another leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Texas and Mexico and, after diabetes, was identified as the second top health priority by rural communities surrounding Puebla, Mexico.

Dr. Rosa Maria Galicia Aguilar of BUAP and Dr. Columbus Batiste of Kaiser Permanente will discuss the exercise and nutrition adaptations for patients with heart disease.
