The Longhorn Wellness Center is hosting reoccurring learning opportunities for students, staff, and faculty who are seeking opportunities to participate in discussions and build skills on mental health & suicide prevention. These offerings are for any member of the UT Austin community interested in supporting a campus climate that promotes our mental well-being.
Two different trainings are being offered at a variety of dates, times and locations. One training dives deeper into understanding how to build skills to enhance mental health in self and in our community, and the other focuses more on responding to distress and skills for intervention around mental health crises.
