Gilman Scholarship for Pell Students

 The Gilman Scholarship is a generous federal scholarship for study abroad and a great opportunity for U.S. citizens receiving a Federal Pell Grant to fund their international experience. Education Abroad is hosting 2 virtual information sessions to help students prepare a competitive application. During the information sessions, we will cover scholarship details, selection criteria, and tips for submitting a competitive application. We will also host an in-person writing workshop for essay review.

The online application is now open for applicants whose in-person programs or internships start between May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. This cycle encompasses May term 2024, Summer 2024, Fall 2024, academic year 2024-2025, and Spring 2025 programs or internships. The application deadline is Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11:59pm Pacific Time.
