UTeach Fine Arts held our first event of Fall 2004. The Kick Off and Faculty Share by Dr. Laurie Scott event occurred on Thursday, September 12. We had a fantastic turnout for this event, with staff, faculty, and many students attending. A big thank you goes out to Dr. Scott, who presented a faculty share that included examples of her body of work and gave excellent anecdotes and advice to our future Fine Arts educators. She concluded her presentation: “As students discover their dreams, it is a teacher’s job to support them and encourage them to follow their heart.”
