Our paper “Resonant enhancement of ultra-thin long wave infrared photodetectors for high-temperature operation” is published in Optica! Led by Mid-IR Photonics Graduate Student Yonathan Magendzo Behar, with Yadviga Tischenko, Noah Mansfield, Felix Estevez, Will Meiners, and Prof. Leland Nordin, this work shows that post-growth enhancement of LWIR photodetectors can greatly improve detector performance, without greatly extending growth times or detector fabrication complexity.
