Electrical Double-Layer (EDL) of ionic liquids at electrified interfaces

Congratulations to Haiyi! His collaborative work with Prof. Zhang’s group on the Electrical Double-Layer (EDL) structure of ionic liquids near electrified interfaces just appeared in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters. Using combined experiments and molecular dynamics simulations, the paper shows that the cation-anion association structure at the innermost layer is a key descriptor of the EDL.
