Fred and Andy Win Micrograph Contest at EIPBN 2019
Fred won the Most Bizzare Micrograph entitled “Merlot by the Femotoliter” at the 63rd International Conference on Electron, Ion, and Photon Beam Technology and Nanofabrication in Minneapolis, MN. Fred and Andy also won the Honorable Mention for their micrographs in this annual competition. Congratulations!
Chang Group at EIPBN 2019
Chang Group attends the 63nd International Conference on Electron, Ion, and Photon Beam Technology and Nanofabrication (EIPBN) in Minneapolis, MN. I-Te presented an oral presentation on multilayer processing of 3D nanostructures, and Fred, Andy, Saurav, and Shubhro each presented their posters on magnetically tunable optics, sapphire nanostructures, aligned assembly of Ag nanowire, and immersion interference lithography of hexagonal nanostructures, respectively. Timothy also presented a talk on modeling of non-monodispersed nanoparticles, a great achievement as an undergraduate student. Congratulations everybody!
Review Paper Published
The paper on “Recent Progress in Near-Field Nanolithography using Light Interactions with Colloidal Particles: From Nanospheres to 3D Nanostructures” has been accepted for publication by the journal Nanotechnology. This is an invited review paper authored by Allan, I-Te, and Dr. Chang.
Timothy Receives Honorable Mention
Congratulations to Timothy for receiving the Honorable Mention for the 2019 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP)! Timothy has been an undergraduate researcher working in the lab for the past year, and will be pursuing his PhD at Georgia Tech.
