We’re excited to welcome high school classes, community organizations, and other 9th-12th grade student groups to the College of Fine Arts at UT Austin.
Our Outreach programming is designed to support students interested in pursuing Fine Arts programs at the collegiate level, with a specific focus on our programs at UT. Our goal is to create informational, educational experiences that help students—regardless of where they are in their college search—better understand the application process and academic pathways in the arts.
Group visits typically include an informational presentation, a Q&A, and optional tours of our Fine Arts facilities. We’re happy to work with you to customize the experience based on your group’s interests and schedule.

What happens after you submit your request:
– All requests are reviewed by our team, and you will receive follow‑up email within 1-3 business days regarding your request, whether or not we are able to accommodate the visit.
Please note…
– College of Fine Arts group visits are designed for high schools and community organizations serving students in 9th grade and up.
– The average group size we accommodate is 10–50 students. Please email cofaoutreach@austin.utexas.edu prior to submitting a request if your group exceeds 50 students.
– A minimum of 3 weeks’ lead time is requested for each request.
– At least 1 adult chaperone is required for every 15 students.
– While not required, we recommend fall visits for groups primarily composed of 12th‑grade students and spring visits for groups primarily composed of 9th–11th‑grade students. This timing best aligns with UT’s December 1 application deadline.
