Our Approach

Fine Arts at The University

Our programming highlights the variety of creative and academic opportunities in the arts, with a particular focus on the pathways available within the College of Fine Arts at UT.

Built for Every Student

Every visit is designed to be informative, engaging, and accessible. We aim to meet students wherever they are in their understanding of possible post-secondary options.

Things to Know

TARGET AUDIENCE

School groups and/or community organizations serving students in grades 9-12

GROUP SIZE

We’ve presented to groups of 5 all the way up to 200

AVERAGE DURATION

20-45 minutes (highly flexible and can be repeated across multiple class periods)

TRAVEL AREA

Across Texas, based on availability and travel logistics

WHEN TO SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST

At least 4 weeks prior to preferred date

RECOMMENDED TIMEFRAME*

▪︎ Fall (groups primarily made up of seniors)
▪︎ Spring (groups primarily made up of freshmen-juniors)

* Because our programming covers information relevant to UT’s December 1 application deadline, engagements in the fall tend to be the most timely option for groups primarily made up of grade 12 students. For groups primarily made up of grades 9-11, we generally recommended scheduling engagements in the spring. These are recommendations only; we are glad to work within your program’s scheduling needs and enjoy welcoming groups throughout the year.
