The College of Fine Arts Outreach Program partners with schools and community organizations serving students in grades 9–12 across Texas. The program is coordinated in collaboration with the Fine Arts Admissions team and is designed to introduce high school aged students to the creative and academic opportunities within the College of Fine Arts at The University of Texas at Austin. Our programming expands students’ exposure to the arts and addresses their questions about the college search and application process, particularly as they relate to fine arts degree pathways.
Ways to Connect with UT Fine Arts:
Guided tours of our Fine Arts facilities and on-site presentations with Admissions staff and current Fine Arts students
Visits to schools and community events across Texas conducted by Fine Arts staff
Virtual presentations and Q&As for groups who may not be able to join us on campus
We tailor each experience according to the experiential and learning goals you have for your students. Our priority is to create a personable and educational atmosphere, addressing the topics students tend to be the most curious about, including applications, auditions, financial aid and scholarships, majors, performance and creative opportunities, and overall student life.
