Career Coaching for Alumni
All alumni of the College of Fine Arts can utilize free career coaching from COFA Career Services. To schedule an appointment, you must make an account with the Handshake platform. In addition to being where you schedule with our team, Handshake has other incredible job search resources, such as the HireUTexas job board. We are excited to support you no matter where you are on your career journey.
Alumni Handshake Account Setup:
- First, make sure your EID is active and you know your password by using the EID self-help tools. You will use your EID credentials to log into Handshake.
- Next, claim your utexas.edu email address here, if you have not done so already.
- Please ensure the email address on record with the university is your utexas.edu address
- Visit utaustin.joinhandshake.com and click “Sign up for account.”
- Use your utexas.edu email address to request your account.
- Once approved, note that you will use your EID credentials—and not the password you created with Handshake—to log into your Handshake account at utaustin.joinhandshake.com
In addition, please contact the Registrar’s Office to access your information and ensure the following fields are not restricted:
- your name,
- EID,
- email address,
- student classification
- school/college affiliation, and
- major.
