Texas Career Engagement Internship Fund
Texas Career Engagement created the Internship Fund to help reduce the financial barriers to internship participation. Through financial support, they aim to increase access to internships for all UT Austin students. Students with financial need who are participating in unpaid internships are encouraged to apply for the TCE Internship Fund. TCE offers this funding program for summer internships only.
Undergraduate Research Travel Awards
To help students share their research, the Office of Undergraduate Research offers awards to cover travel expenses to conduct or present research or creative activity that has been accepted or submitted for presentation at an academic or professional conference. These awards are offered in the fall and spring, and usually range from $100 to $600.

Graduate Professional Development Awards
Professional Development Awards provide support for students to attend major professional meetings at which they present an original paper based on their research conducted at the University of Texas. The Graduate School allocates travel funds to each program at the beginning of each academic year. The graduate adviser and graduate coordinator can nominate students for these awards, which are approved and administered by the Graduate School.
