Fine Arts Mentoring and Enrichment Program (FAME)

What is Fame?

The Fine Arts Mentoring and Enrichment Program (FAME) offers support programming to first-year College of Fine Arts students to aid in their transition to university life. This program strives to provide students with resources and tools for academic achievement throughout their entire undergraduate careers.

Students are invited to participate in the program based on a variety of factors that include but are not limited to exceptional financial need, first generation college student status, and academic preparation outside of Fine Arts subjects. COFA aims to be as holistic in our selection process as possible.

The current cohort, mentor team, and upcoming events will be announced soon!

FAQ

How can I participate?

Students will be invited to FAME based on a variety of factors by the Program Coordinator, and students may either accept or decline the offer. If you have accepted an offer to participate in University Leadership Network, you will be automatically selected for FAME, and unable to decline.

Does this cost money?

FAME is free! No dues or participation fees.

What do I get to do?

Programming will vary from study groups and educational workshops about the college experience to social events, such as seeing a theatrical production on campus or a group excursion to art museums, just to name a few! Experiences and events are subject to change based on the interests of the cohort group.

When will I be notified?

Students invited to FAME will be notified by their Summer Orientation date.

How long is the program?

FAME programming follows students for their first year on UT Campus.
