2026/27 EChO Officers

President: Mukta Kantak
	Mukta Kantak is a senior Environmental Science major, and is serving as our President for the 2026/27 school year. She plays the Violin! Mukta’s favorite musical artists include Hozier, Dire Straits, Caamp, Sierra Ferrell, Don Omar, and Bad Bunny. Around Austin, she enjoys picnicking at Zilker park and visiting the botanical garden! Outside of EChO, you can find her at the UT Campus Environmental Center or hiking around!
Vice President: Abha Dandge
	Abha is a junior Petroleum Engineering major, and is serving as our Vice President for the 2026/27 school year. She plays the Flute and Piccolo! Abha’s favorite musical artists include the Wallows, Her’s, Beach House, One Direction, Dominic Fike, and The Strokes. Around Austin, she enjoys going to symphonies, visiting downtown, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops! Outside of EChO, you can find her painting, crocheting, drawing, and cooking!
Secretary/SEC Representative: Diego Fernandez
	Diego is a sophomore Mechanical Engineering major, and is serving as our Secretary/SEC Representative for the 2026/27 school year. He plays the Violin! Diego’s favorite musical artists include Laufey, Mei Semones, Dvorak, Bach, Queens of the Stone Age, and Chet Baker. Around Austin, he enjoys trying new restaurants! Outside of EChO, you can find him weightlifting, practicing (of course!), and participating in the UT Naval ROTC program!
Treasurer: Xander Amparado
	Xander is a junior Human Biology and Public Health major, and is serving as our Treasurer for the 2026/27 school year. He plays the Viola! Xander’s favorite musical artists include Don West, Tatsuro Yamashita, Queen, and Sade. Around Austin, he enjoys trying local foods! Outside of EChO, you can find him playing video games (Likely Persona 5, Hollow Knight, or Hitman), attempting to read more, cooking, and singing!
IT Director: Maya Donovan
	Maya is a junior Mathematics major, and is serving as our IT Director for the 2026/27 school year. She plays the Oboe! Maya’s favorite musical artists include Gregory Alan Isakov, Lord Huron, The Lumineers, Noah Kahan, and Fleet Foxes. Around Austin, she enjoys strolling around SoCo and going to Tiny’s! Outside of EChO, you can find her training for her next half-marathon, studying for her actuarial exams, playing Geoguessr, or hanging out at her sorority house!
Recruitment Coordinator: Pablo Ramos
	Pablo is a senior Biochemistry major, and is serving as our Recruitment Coordinator for the 2026/27 school year. He plays the Cello! Pablo’s favorite musical artist is Billy Joel. Around Austin, he enjoys eating out with friends and going to football games! Outside of EChO, you can find him running, reading, baking, and watching motorsports!
Social Coordinator: Darren Tea
	Darren is an Arts and Entertainment Technologies and Asian American Studies double major, and is serving as our Social Coordinator for the 2026/27 school year. They play the Bassoon and Contrabassoon! Darren’s favorite musical artist is Ottorino Respighi. Around Austin, they enjoy biking around and exploring the city! Outside of EChO, you can find them playing Minecraft (@Macaw12), composing music, and playing board games.
Service Coordinator: Jaebum Park
	Jaebum is Petroleum Engineering postdoc and UT alum, and is serving as our Service Coordinator for the 2026/27. He plays the Viola! Jaebum’s favorite musical artists include Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Scott Joplin, Dave Brubeck, and Ennio Morricone. Around Austin, he likes going to concerts and enjoying all different kinds of musical experiences! Outside of EChO, you can find him hiking, playing the piano, and mastering the Texas two-step!
Librarians: Lilly Gallaga & Luis Perez
	Lilly is a sophomore Mathematics major, and is serving as one of our Librarians for the 2026/27 school year. She plays the Clarinet! Lilly’s favorite musical artists include Laufey, Lizzy McAlpine, Mitski, and Natalie Jinju. Around Austin, she enjoys going to concerts and hanging out at auditorium shores! Outside of EChO, you can find her running, hiking, and going to even more concerts! Luis is a senior Environmental Engineering major, and is serving as one of our Librarians for the 2026/27 school year. He plays the Violin. Luis’ favorite musical artists include Laufey, Lisa Ono, IU, Rachmaninov, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky. Around Austin, he enjoys trying different food spots! Outside of EChO, you can find him at ASO concerts, playing video games (Likely Legend of Zelda, Octopath Traveler, BG3, or FE), and participating in EWeek!
