Factor Health announces Consultation Awards for Community Organizations in Houston

In January 2020, Factor Health announced consultation awards to six community organization in Houston:

• BakerRipley
• Coalition for the Homeless
• Healthcare for the Homeless
• Houston Food Bank
• Santa Maria Hostel
• The Women’s Home

Consultation awardees were selected from a pool of nearly thirty applicants, 18 of whom attended hands-on workshops where organizations shared collective knowledge on the health issues impacting Houston.

Factor Health will spend the next several months working with consultation awardees to assess how they can enhance their ability to deliver measurable improvements in health that are relevant to health care payers. All consultation awardees are candidates to co-develop a program that will address health outside of the clinic and deliver measurable health outcomes for Factor Health’s inaugural cycle in Houston.
