Arissa Rahman is an undergraduate student pursuing a BSA in Neuroscience with a Women and Gender Studies Minor. Her research interests include accessibility to healthcare and neurodegenerative diseases. In the past, she has done research in a CRISPR Cas-9 lab with C. elegans. Currently, she is assisting with a project on how alcohol acts upon GABAa receptors as a potential mechanism for the immunosuppressive effect of neuroinflammation in EAE.
