Cole Maguire

Cole is a PhD student in the lab and an aspiring physician scientist. He received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Classical Civilizations. In the lab, his work specializes in using bioinformatics to evaluate the effects of alcohol in neurological autoimmune mouse models and understand its effects on the gut microbiome. He is also interested in the connection between viral infection and the onset of autoimmune disorders.
