Overview & Mission
The Student Association of the School of Information is the official council for the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin. We are registered with the Office of the Dean of Students as an officially sponsored student governance organization.
Our mission is to promote a sense of community within the iSchool and foster professionalism and leadership within our student body. We serve as a link between School of Information students and the administration of the School and the University. We appoint a representative to the Graduate Student Assembly.
If you are a School of Information student, you are automatically a constituent of SASI! It’s that easy! There are many benefits to membership including networking, opportunities for leadership, community building, and volunteering.
